The George H. Riedel Foundation has awarded $2,000 to WGCA The Mix to support a free contemporary Christian music concert on the campus of Hannibal-LaGrange University.

The concert will be held on August 20, during HLGU’s Welcome Week, however it’s a community concert open to all area residents. The show will feature Christian recording artist Riley Clemons, whose hit single, “Fighting for Me” was popular on the charts. She has accumulated more than a half a billion global streams since making her debut in 2017. Bodie, who was the runner up of Season 22 “The Voice” will also perform at the concert.

““We’re so excited to bring these two young artists to HLGU students and the Hannibal community,” said Sierra Alfred, Donor Relations Director for WGCA The Mix. “We are expecting it to be a night of encouragement that will be memorable for all attendees. We are grateful to the Riedel Foundation for helping make this night possible.”

The Mix is a non-profit, listener supported station. Though the concert is free to everyone, seats are limited and tickets are required. The radio station will announce the ticket opening date soon at 88.5 FM WGCA The Mix.
