The Riedel Foundation has awarded a $5,000 grant to the Hannibal Concert Association (HCA) to support its 2025–2026 season and to fund the Student Pass Program.
Through this program, select Hannibal students and an accompanying adult receive free admission to HCA concerts.
“A central priority is inspiring students—both by involving them in performances and by exposing them to world-class artists whose work encourages creativity, motivation, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts,” said HCA President Sara North. “By fostering the next generation of concertgoers, HCA builds a cycle of sustainability that ensures music remains a vital part of our community.”
The Riedel grant also helps keep ticket prices affordable, broadening audience access. “We are committed to presenting a balance of classical and mainstream performances, which attracts first-time audience members,” North added.
The 2025–2026 concert season runs from October 5, 2025, through April 10, 2026, and features the following performances:
- Gilly and the Girl – October 5
- Nate Hance – November 9
- Fountain City Brass Band – December 12
- St. Louis Osuwa Taiko – March 14
- Young Original – April 10
Founded in 1945, the Hannibal Concert Association has an all-volunteer board that coordinates performances and fosters the arts. The Riedel Foundation remains a long-time supporter of this work.
